Speech Castle, LLC has applied and been accepted with Medicaid! As a single private practice owner, and also working full time at a school district, I am slowly getting this set up so that I can start seeing all the amazing families who are on the waiting list for therapy as reimbursed through Medicaid. Speech Therapy at your home requires the SLP to travel to various districts in the Denver area. Therefore, on days with inclement weather, sessions depend on the school district of the SLP's residence (Adams12) and the school district in which your child resides. 

Closures:  If your child's district and Adams12 are closed, then in-person therapy is cancelled for that day; however, there is the option for a virtual therapy session at your regularly scheduled time or a makeup time later in the week or the next week (if available).   (All video/virtual sessions remain as scheduled on these days).

** in the event that a closure happens but the roads seems safe for travel for speech therapy sessions, in-person therapy can still occur. On snow days, the SLP will be in touch with you to decide the safest option.  

Delays: If your child's district and Adams12 announces a delay, then in-person and virtual therapy scheduled at 10:00am and earlier are cancelled.  Therapy sessions beginning at 10:30am and after will resume as scheduled.   Speech Castle clients have the option to make up the cancelled therapy session later that day or week (if sessions are available).
